Heat utilisation
The heat generated by the biogas plant is used by the St. Johannes Foundation for the Disabled via a 400 m long district heating pipeline almost all year round. The laundry and the nursery are supplied with energy. Thus, the biogas plant works particularly efficiently according to the Rückert NatUrgas® process. This is because not only the NaWaRo bonus and the CHP bonus, but also the technology bonus from the EEG are paid out by the energy supplier LEW due to the dry fermentation process.
